Presentation

My research interests fall in the area of agricultural and environmental economics, with a focus on microeconomic modelling of producers’ and farm households’ decision-making and its effects on land use, supply, income, and the environment (nitrogen pollution, biodiversity, pesticides, greenhouse gas emissions, carbon sequestration, etc.). I use quantitative economic analysis methods (mathematical programming, econometrics), sometimes combined with agronomic and environmental tools (biophysical or agronomic modelling).
