Presentation

I study the economic mechanisms related to risk management and agricultural and environmental regulations in the presence of information asymmetries. My work focuses in particular on the design of contractual arrangements and public policies in the fields of agriculture, the environment, and insurance. I am also interested in the effects of agricultural specialization—especially in connection with international trade—on productivity and the use of chemical inputs, using models that incorporate biotic externalities between crops.
