Tasks and activities
The Paris-Saclay Applied Economics (PSAE) is a joint research unit of INRAE and AgroParisTech, internationally recognized for its research and expertise in economics applied to agriculture, the environment, and food.
Your research program will focus on environmental and/or nutritional policies and the alignment of their fiscal components (taxes, subsidies) with other elements, such as labels and awareness campaigns. It will involve integrating both individual behavioral elements (biases, inattention, etc.) and collective ones (social norms, conformism). This research will be at the intersection of environmental economics, health economics, and behavioral economics. It will build on the existing research within the unit on the determinants of consumer choices, particularly through experimental economics methods..
You will benefit from a wide network of collaborators within our unit, both in France and abroad.
You will also have privileged access to shared computing tools (servers, software, access to secured data center) and databases (KANTAR World Panel+, surveys,…), as well as financial resources in accordance with the unit’s operational rules (individual budget, involvement in French and European collaborative projects) to carry out your research.
